Chief Eye Surgeon Pavel Stodůlka awarded at the International Congress AECOS 2025
10.6.2025At this year's AECOS Congress in London, Chief Eye Surgeon Pavel Stodůlka won first place in the international video competition in the category Special Interest in Cataract Surgery & IOL Implantation. The award-winning video, titled "Lens will tell us the truth" impressed not only with its technical quality, but above all with its original approach to precise capsulotomy centering.

Dr. Stodulka has years of experience in an unusually wide range of eye surgeries - from laser corrections of eye defects to corneal transplant and retina surgery. He is an internationally well-known innovator in the field of eye surgery. Several eye surgeries he performed as the first eye surgeon in the world and a number of eye operation methods were first introduced in the Czech Republic by him. He lectures at prestigious international ophthalmic congresses and teaches courses for foreign ophthalmologists.
