Eye surgeon Pavel Stodůlka re-elected to the ESCRS committee
Pavel Stodůlka, the chief surgeon of the Gemini eye clinics network, has been a member of the ESCRS committee since 2017. He was re-elected to this prestigious position by doctors again this year. He will continue to represent Czech ophthalmologists in one of the largest ophthalmological organizations in the world. The official re-election will take place at the 39th ESCRS Congress in Amsterdam.
The four-day symposium program of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons will offer many instructional courses and professional lectures, and discussions by leading eye surgeons. Annually, several thousand ophthalmologists attend the ESCRS Congress.
The organization is mainly engaged in educational activities. It is the activities of the ESCRS that make eye surgery one of the fastest-growing medical fields in the world.
