The Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons held a Multinational Professional Congress on 3-6 August 2022. Czech eye surgeon and founder of Gemini eye clinics Pavel Stodůlka was also among the lecturers from ophthalmologists worldwide. This confirms the high level of Czech ophthalmology.

The Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons is dedicated to educating doctors and health professionals about the latest trends in ophthalmology. It was founded in 1995 to share the latest knowledge and experience in eye medicine. The congress was divided into several sections, such as equipment for cataract surgery or trends in refractive surgery.
Dr. Pavel Stodůlka, Ph.D., FEBOS-CR gave a lecture on biosynthetic microlens for the correction of presbyopia, a femtomatrix laser with a robotic arm developed by the French company Keranova in cooperation with the Gemini Eye Clinic, and also on the CAPSULaser for cataract surgery.

The Ophthalmological Congress was enriched by a special part of the program in which the participants were dressed in humorous costumes. These differed thematically and were different for individual sections.
