Dr. Stodůlka lecturing at the University of Cambridge

Dr. Stodůlka received an invitation of the head surgeon of the Eye Clinic of the Cambridge University Hospital to lecture at one of the world most prestigious universities on the topic of modern laser surgeries - their state of development and related economics. The lecture takes place in the famous St. John’s College founded in 1511 by Margaret Beaufort, King Henry VIII.`s grandmother (the Tudor Dynasty).

The University is known especially for its extraordinary scientists and mathematicians such as Isaac Newton (dynamics, gravity), Charles Darwin (the theory of evolution), William Harvey (blood circulation) and many other personalities. Since 1904 among the University of Cambridge graduates there are 90 Nobel Prize winners. The University of Cambridge is thus the only university with such a number of Nobel Prize laureates.
