Chief Surgeon Stodůlka helps shape the future of European eye surgery
Pavel Stodůlka is actively involved in the leadership of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), where he serves as Treasurer of the Executive Committee.
At a weekend meeting in Copenhagen, he participated in the preparations for this year's ESCRS Annual Congress in the Danish capital and contributed to the development of a new international nomenclature for eye surgery (NOC), in collaboration with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). At the same time, the society's statutes are being updated to promote greater openness and modernization.
Thanks to Chief Surgeon Stodůlka's active involvement, Czech patients benefit from access to the most advanced methods and technologies in the field of eye surgery.
