A new global educational organization in the field of refractive surgery has been established
Two leading Czech ophthalmologists, Head Physician Pavel Stodůlka and Professor Pavel Rozsíval, have contributed to the creation of a new professional educational organization called the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences (WCRSVS). This organization operates worldwide in the field of education in refractive surgery.
The organization's goal is to represent refractive surgery, educate eye doctors, and establish criteria for teaching and practicing refractive surgery. Professor Pavel Rozsíval and Head Physician Pavel Stodůlka became founding members of this organization as the only representatives from the Czech Republic. Their participation in the WCRSVS contributes to the improvement of quality and education in this specialization and promotes Czech surgery interests abroad. Their membership in this organization is a significant recognition for Czech refractive surgery.
