Eye surgeons from Belgium and Holland visit GEMINI Zlin

GEMINI Eye Clinic in Zlin was visited by another group of eye surgeons who came to see laser cataract surgeries as performed by Dr. Pavel Stodulka with the use of VICTUS femtosecond laser platform. The visitors were from Belgium and the Netherlands and came to Zlin only to pay a short visit.
Celebrations of the Czech State Day

On the occassion of the Czech State Day on 28th October, Dr. Stodulka and his wife had been invited to attend the official celebration in Prague Castle. The Czech President Vaclav Klaus, who is a patient of Dr. Stodulka, entered Vladislav Hall of the Castle without his glasses and he also read the celebration speech without them.

Silver Medal for special achievements

Dr. Stodulka was awarded Sliver Medal from the Czech Senate for all his achievements in eye surgery, namely for the introduction of the following surgical methods in the Czech Republic: laser cataract surgery (February 2012), lasik (1994) and femtosecond lasik (2008), micro incision cataract surgery (2001), Boston artificial cornea implantation and several others.

Laser cataract surgeries on the VICTUS femtosecond platform, introduced in the Czech Republic and Europe by Dr. Stodulka and Gemini Eye Clinic, attract the attention of ophthalmologists and eye surgeons from abroad.
The surgeons become interested particularly in experience with this method with which Gemini has already treated more than 500 patients. At the end of May 2012 Gemini in Zlin hosted five eye surgeons from all around the world – two from Venezuela, on from Saudi Arabia and two surgeons from Belgium. The surgeons were present to surgeries performed by VICTUS and they had the possibility to discuss Dr. Stodulka`s experience with the platform.

It has already been a tradition for Dr. Stodulka and his wife to attend the official celebration of Czech President Vaclav Klaus` birthday. This year the event was held in the Prague Castle on June 19th.
