The Ophthalmology Congress organized by the Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (AUSCRS) was held on August 3-6, 2022. Eye surgeon and founder of Gemini Eye Clinics Pavel Stodůlka was also among the speakers. He lectured, for example, on biosynthetic microlens for the correction of presbyopia, the CAPSULaser for cataract surgery, or the results of a clinical study regarding cataract surgery using a femtomatrix laser with a robotic arm.

On the weekend of May 20th and 21st, 2022, the 19th Congress of the Czech Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery took place in Olomouc. Pavel Stodůlka, well-known eye surgeon, is also a member of this major ophthalmological organization. Eye surgeon Pavel Stodůlka has a new world championship. He performed the first implantation of a new hydrophobic trifocal toric intraocular lens FineVison HP. It can eliminate dioptric defects at all three distances in patients with astigmatism.

In 2015, the Z8 laser from the Swiss manufacturer Ziemer was used for the first time in the Czech Republic. It happened at the Gemini Eye Clinic. Now, this laser assists in the new method of laser eye surgery called CLEAR. The first Czech and Austrian patients were operated on with his team by eye surgeon Pavel Stodůlka.
